The Shiba Inu ecosystem could soon take a new step after several months of discretion around some of its most anticipated projects. Recent exchanges within the community are reigniting speculation about the return of Shiba Eternity and the metaverse associated with the SHIB universe. Without an official schedule, however, several indications show that the teams are continuing their work behind the scenes. These statements come as developers reaffirm their desire to refocus their efforts on sustainable products for the coming years.

Shiba Inu revives expectations around Eternity and the Metaverse

The recent fall of SHIB continues to fuel the community’s questions about the prospects of the ecosystem. At the same time, discussions resumed after an intervention by Mazrael, a long-time member of the SHIB community, during a exchange on X. When asked about the current status of Shiba Eternity, he indicated that the game’s development continues despite a temporary hiatus. As an advisor to the project, he also hinted that several significant updates were already in the works, suggesting that teams are actively continuing their work ahead of a future relaunch.

Mazrael also discussed the Shiba Inu metaverse, specifying that it too would benefit from numerous updates before its relaunch. Shiba Eternity was launched in October 2022 in the form of a free collectible card game on mobile.
