NFT: BAYC inspired treats!

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is among the most popular projects in the NFT industry. This is the NFT collection from Yuga Labs which became very popular after launching their project. The latter has already generated nearly $2.4 billion in trading volume. Recently, two companies decided to join forces to launch sweets inspired by it.

M&M’s will launch NFT-inspired candy

According a tweet from Watcher.Guru on August 24, “M&M’s Announces Limited Edition Bored Ape Yacht Club Themed Candy“. Concretely, Mars and the 10:22 PM label ofUniversal Music Group signed a partnership to launch M&M’s candies. The treats will be available in a limited edition: 10,000 packets in total.

Jane Hwang, Global Vice President of Mars Wrigley, said:At Mars, we know we need to be more innovative than ever with a brand as culturally famous as M&M’s.“. You must know that these special candies will bear the BAYC and Kingship logos. They will be put in gift boxes and jars.

In particular, there is the Gold gift box, the stock of which is already sold out. There’s also the M&M’s Celebratory Gift Box which costs $59.99. The candy is also contained in the M&M’s Kingship gift jar which costs $39.99.

Mars and Universal Music Group’s 10:22 PM label decided to bring BAYC-inspired candies to consumers. These treats are kept in pretty gift jars. Some wonder if Mars plans to offer a second wave of distribution of these special-edition candies.
