To mark this evolution, SSI Digital (SSID), the branch of digital assets of the largest securities company in Vietnam, SSI SECURITIES Corporation, has teamed up with Kyros Ventures – the founding organizer of GM Vietnam. For the first time, GM Vietnam 2025 will be held Hanoi,, August 1ᵉʳ and 2 At National Conventions Center. Legal framework for digital assets: what to remember in GM Vietnam
Vietnam has recently increased the regulation of digital assets, stressing government’s commitment to a clear legal framework supporting industry growth.
In October 2024, the government unveiled its National Blockchain technology development strategyplanned for implementation by 2025. This roadmap sets objectives to strengthen national infrastructure and position Vietnam as a regional power in the adoption of blockchain. At the same time, the National Assembly began examining the Digital technology industry lawwhich introduces key legal definitions for digital assets and offers pilot programs for digital asset exchanges in major financial centers like Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang.
In addition, the government has issued a directive for finalize a complete legal framework for digital assetsincluding virtual assets and service providers, by May 2025.
