Since 2016, Craig Wright self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. It all started with a blog post in which he claimed to have created the flagship crypto. He then provided dubious evidence that failed to convince the crypto community. But he did not stop making efforts to have his thesis accepted, going from court to court. Wright notably filed a complaint against Magnus Granathaka Hodlnaut, for calling him a fraudster. He also managed to get removed from bitcoin.org bitcoin white paper (BTC). But, in a recent Twitter post, the famous Australian computer scientist expressed his weariness with the whole situation.
Wright no longer wants to convince the courts that he is Satoshi Nakamoto
The mystery around Satoshi Nakamoto, pseudonym of the inventor of the flagship crypto, still remains. It is true that last week Martin Shkreli revealed that he identified the inventor of Bitcoin. But, it is difficult to say with certainty that it was indeed Paul Le Roux who created the first crypto.
In the meantime, Craig Wright still maintains that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. Nevertheless, he is now weary of fighting to prove it in court. Indeed, on Thursday, Wright explained in a tweet that he stopped worrying about other people’s validation. “I’ve been too angry for too long because I cared about external validation. It’s over“, did he declare.
The Australian computer scientist added: “The only validation I seek now is from my family and I want to see my ideas come to fruition and be used by the world. Not everyone wants what I have to offer“. These statements come after a judge said:It is important to be clear that Dr. Wright has not established that he is Satoshi“.

Craig Wright also said:The goal of what I do is simple: global micropayments. One day people will understand, not because it’s inevitable, but because I won’t give up on this goal and this vision“.
“At the same time, the vision is to have transparency and transaction fees below 0.001 cents. When that’s done, I’ll be done. Until then I’ll build and focus“, underlined the Australian computer scientist.
