Binance becomes a member of the Chamber of Digital Commerce in the United States

The debate around the legitimacy and legalization of cryptos is raging in many parts of the world. Some organizations spend a lot of energy to fuel the problem. Their goal is to achieve the adoption of a regulatory framework for cryptos and blockchain, in a broader sense.

Support the creation of a regulatory framework for cryptos

On December 20, the world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance announced that it has joined the Chamber of Digital Commerce, USA. It is the largest pro-blockchain lobbying association in the world. It has been in operation since 2014 and is multiplying actions for the regulation and adoption of cryptos.

Binance’s goal is to participate and to influence blockchain technology development efforts. The crypto business has always seen working with entities committed to this cause as imperative. Hence its integration into the Chamber of Digital Commerce.

Binance’s announcement

“We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Chamber of Digital Commerce. It is a leading trade association in the field of blockchain and cryptos. We have joined the Chamber Executive Committee to advance the blockchain industry alongside other industry players (…) This is fundamental to our mission to foster sustainable development and reasonable regulations for cryptos and blockchain . Ultimately, this will ensure user protection”has commented Joanne Kubba, Vice President of Public Affairs at Binance.

Advance the cause in the right direction

The Binance official also said she looks forward to working with the Chamber. This, to find solutions to existing problems and to move things in the right direction.

“Blockchain technology is the future of finance. Our members represent leading organizations committed to building the infrastructure necessary to enable a strong and inclusive financial system. Binance has established itself as a leader in this emerging ecosystem. So we are delighted to welcome them and their contributions to our executive committee.”. So said Blain Rethmeier, vice president of public affairs for the Chamber of Digital Commerce.

Apart from its lobbying activity in political and economic circles, the Chamber is also involved in training. It strives to establish a legal and regulatory environment conducive to growth, innovation, job creation and investment.
