Algorand achieves a masterstroke in the Indian Web3 ecosystem

The Algorand Foundation began the year with an establishment in India and initiatives promoting Web3 education for young people and women entrepreneurs. She launched the AlgoBharat initiative intended to support companies specializing in the development of blockchain solutions and run by women. She was also involved in the training of teaching staff thanks to the support of three large Indian organizations. This time, the blockchain protocol is taking deeper roots by partnering with big names in the tech and financial sectors.

Promotion of Web3 in India: Algorand strengthens its authority in India

Highly coveted for several months, Algorand had already attracted several Indian organizations since the start of the year. She has worked with the Employed Women’s Association (SEWA), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and the Indian School of Business. The foundation had also initiated educational projects to support the Indian web ecosystem.

This involves, for example, the incubation of 20 Web3 startups and support for women in obtaining large carbon credits using a blockchain solution. Proud and satisfied with the success of her first projects, Staci Warden, CEO of the Algorand Foundation expresses itself:

Indeed, Algorand (ALGO) has just formed new partnerships with three powerful larger Indian organizations. The first partnership was established with NASSCOM, the leading figure in the tech sector in India. The second was signed with the international company TiE Bangalore which supports entrepreneurs. Finally, the third was concluded with the Mann Deshi Foundation which supports India’s first rural bank for women. A true masterstroke.
