Lugano NFT Fest, TECH Fest and WUF will be held on June 14 and 15, 2024

Three festivals take place in a single weekend, dedicated to art and new technologies, in Lugano, in the canton of Ticino (Switzerland).

This year, Lugano is tripling the number of festivals linked to new technologies. After the experiences of previous years, the time had come to provide vertical content for the different communities and different interests related to the world of digital avant-garde.

June 14 and 15, 2024 in Luganothere will be :

NFT fest : dedicated to Web3 communities and NFT enthusiasts in all its multifaceted forms;

TECH fest : focused on the world of start-ups, investors and the latest technological innovations;

WUF : acronym for “We Understand the Future”, a vertical format on new art forms linked to the latest technologies.

It all forms the Lugano Digital Weekend, which will extend throughout the city and the canton of Ticino.

Thanks to the collaboration between FFS and the Lugano Living Lab (the city's digital laboratory), entry tickets to the events will also be valid as travel tickets on public transport throughout the Arcobaleno fare community for the duration of their validity . Tickets can be booked on www.nft-fest.com. Participants will thus have the opportunity to easily reach Lugano from throughout Ticino using the public transport network free of charge.

The epicenter of the different festivals will be the city hall and its Piazza della Riforma (the city's main square). Inside the courtyard of the municipal building there will be expert speeches and podcasts from industry representatives and major influencers. And like last year, it will also be an opportunity to discuss and “clash” on the various sensitive and important subjects, sometimes conflicting, linked to technological innovation.

Above all, there will be room for innovations and the city will anticipate certain strategic activities undertaken to facilitate the relocation of technological start-ups in the region.

Dozens of parallel events these days, in a city that stands out for its vibrant activity in the month of June. At the edge of summer, on the lake, with a Mediterranean climate, schools have just finished and many people are in the city.

Saturday June 15, 2024:

At 10:00 a.m., the Municipality of Lugano, in collaboration with institutional partners and foundations of the blockchain panorama, will be protagonist of an exclusive event, in which the city and the main partners will reveal important initiatives dedicated to the development of blockchain. crypto ecosystem;
