Elon Musk, the tech visionary, once again expressed his enthusiasm for Argentina during his second interview in less than a month with President Javier Milei, a staunch supporter of Bitcoin. This summit meeting fuels speculation about possible cooperation between these two ardent supporters of cryptos.
A promising meeting for Argentina
Elon Musk and Javier Milei, two ardent defenders of the market economy, met on the sidelines of the prestigious 27th annual global conference of the Milken Institute in Beverly Hills. Accompanied by Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, and Gerardo Werthein, Ambassador of Argentina to the United States, they displayed their complicity during a photo session where Musk bluntly declared: “ I recommend investing in Argentina“.
This encounter comes just a month after their first interview at a Tesla factory in Texas, where they had already expressed their mutual enthusiasm and shared vision. Milei then posted a photo of them warmly shaking hands, accompanied by the evocative caption “Long live freedom”, thus underlining their attachment to the values of free trade and entrepreneurship.

Bitcoin, an asset for the future of Argentina?
In addition to their common passion for Argentina, Elon Musk and Javier Milei share another point of convergence: their strong support for cryptos, in particular Bitcoin. The CEO of Tesla has already revealed that he holds bitcoins and has championed Dogecoin, while the Argentine president sees BTC as a way to restore monetary power to the people.
Milei's election as president has even led some analysts to consider the possibility of Bitcoin becoming legal tender in Argentina. Such a decision could therefore have a major impact on the country's economy, by attracting investments and stimulating technological innovation.
The synergy between these two like-minded personalities bodes well for a potential collaboration in the crypto ecosystem. If this were to materialize, it could accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin in Argentina, or even in other Latin American countries.
It remains to be determined whether this cooperation will materialize and in what form. Regardless, the meeting between Elon Musk and Javier Milei demonstrates the growing interest of world leaders and their ability to transform the economy of emerging countries.
