Ultra appoints a new COO and strengthens its leadership to support an ambitious expansion

London, March 26 – Ultrathe essential reference for players, publishers and developers, has appointed Maxime Van Steenberghe As a new COO, marking the next step in the aggressive expansion plans of the company. Maxime's appointment underlines Ultra's commitment to constitute a solid management team to achieve their daring vision for the future of gaming.

As of March 24, 2025, Maxime will direct the implementation of the Vision 2025 Recently revealed from the company, focused on the construction of ultra as an essential game platform in Europe and beyond, and supported by the following pillars:

• Institutionalization : Bring the ultra gaming revolution to the masses by making the link between the web2 and the web3 to create a real and fluid game experience.
• Strategic acquisitions : Acquire and revitalize game studios in difficulty, technology suppliers and game services to quickly grow the content, the user base and the adoption of the Ultra platform while maintaining an efficiency of the capital under control.
• Commitment & retention : Create the Gaming Netflix – a dynamic platform rich in content where players can access their games and interact with a prosperous and interactive community.

Maxime joined Ultra from Circle Strategy, a strategy consulting company founded by Gus. He brings with him strong experience in advice, having previously held positions at McKinsey & Company and Accenture. Maxime is also a seasoned entrepreneur and founded two companies – an ESG award -winning service provider, Creo², as well as the Flemar retail brand, which has recorded an average annual growth rate of more than 100%.

Maxime's appointment is the last in a series of recent strategic appointments within the Management of Ultra, following the addition of Adrien Moser as manager of mergers and acquisitions in January. Adrien directs the push of the company to strategic acquisitions, thus strengthening the position of Ultra as a major actor in the gaming industry and engine of its transformation.
