The data collected at the end of this process made it possible to train the AI on the mechanisms of thought of the subjects. And the results are not negligible. Without being absolutely precise, the AI manages, in 50% of cases, to interpret and reconstruct human thoughts.
Clearly, this new development of artificial intelligence is cause for concern. Legitimate fears of the coup, since it suggests that the AI would in fact now be able to infiltrate and decode thoughts. But the researchers are reassuring. According to them, “Subject cooperation is currently required both to train and use the decoder.”
