Takashi Murakami and Hublot: 13 physical watches and 13 unique NFTs up for grabs!

After three fruitful collaborations, Hublot and Takashi Murakami have decided to launch a new collection of unique NFTs backed by physical watches of the same ilk. One of the 13 watches, baptized “Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Black Ceramic Rainbow”, was recently presented at the Glass House in New York.

Hublot decided to embark on the crypto-blockchain-Web3 adventure last year. In March, for example, the Swiss watchmaker launched a series of 50 crypto watches to attract the attention of wealthy hodlers. In June 2022, Hublot announced the integration of cryptocurrencies into its payment methods.

Art reaches a new level thanks to Murakami and Hublot

Hublot and @takashipom are launching a collection of 13 unique watches and 13 NFTs. This announcement is a continuation of past projects, rewarding collectors of the first NFTs through an exclusive approach. »

On Thursday February 2, Hublot revealed on his website that the Watches & Wonders 2023 event, which will be held from March 27 to April 2 in Geneva, will notably see the presentation of 13 unique Classic Fusion watches. 13 unique NFTs, inspired by 70s Japanese video games and television, will also be released with these coins.

This is made possible thanks to a partnership established between Takashi Murakami and Hublot since January 2021.

Some practical information

Hublot has specified that 12 of these watches, delivered with their respective NFT, will be offered for sale on its online store, Hublot.com, to all holders of a 324 NFT. All Black or Sapphire Rainbow at a price of CHF 50,000 excluding tax. It should also be noted that these collections come from the same collaboration between Hublot and Takashi Murakami, the master of the “smiling flower”.

Also, it should be noted that the 13e watch, the Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Black Ceramic Rainbow, will go to the person who succeedshas to bring together the 12 NFTs associated with the 12 watches that will be released next April. To do this, holders of these genuine non-fungible tokens will benefit from the freedom to trade on OpenSea. It will last for a year.
