Shiba Inu (SHIB): The most popular memecoin in the United States!

Many new assets have recently emerged in the memecoin market. Despite everything, only one memecoin remains in the lead in the United States. CoinGecko pointed this out in a new study after looking at the total number of pageviews on the top 15 memecoins by market capitalization. Find out why this great rival of Dogecoin (DOGE) is very popular with Americans.

Indeed, even though there are new competitors in the market, SHIB generated 60.7% of American interest in memecoins this year.

Five other tokens from the speculative asset class are generating some interest among Americans. They are: Baby Doge Coin (BABYDOGE), Pepe (PEPE), Floki (FLOKI), Bonk (BONK) and Volt Inu (VOLT). It should be noted that the memecoin Pepe (PEPE) was launched just last month. Also, it generated 11.8% of American interest in memecoins.

Two other countries are showing great interest in memecoins. These are India and the United Kingdom, according to the report from the CoinGecko platform.
