Superstars Eminem and Snoop Dogg will deliver a BAYC-themed performance to the MTV Video Music Awards. This highly anticipated show will heavily feature Otherside, the metaverse from Yuga Labs which is the creator of BAYC. It will be presented this Sunday and will beone of a kindaccording to the press release announcing it.
Concretely, Eminem and Snoop Dogg will present their single “From the D 2 the LBC” which is precisely inspired by the Bored Apes Yacht Club. You should know that the show was developed in agreement with Yuga Labs. The two hip-hop megastars will offer their performance live on a scene reflecting the aesthetics of the Otherside metaverse.
This would be the first time an awards show has hosted a metaverse-inspired show. You should know that Snoop Dogg and Eminem bought their own NFT BAYC at the beginning of the year. The rap collab they’ll be performing on Sunday was released in June. It is nominated in the “Best Hip-Hop” category and currently has over 46 million views.
BAYC NFTs, initially minted for around $200, peaked at around $435,000 in May. In short, the crypto community is eagerly awaiting the next show from Snoop Dogg and Eminem.
