A day after the hack, a separate wallet belonging to the crypto exchange came into contact with the hacker. The message clearly asks him to return the stolen funds or face legal action. Indeed, HTX knows the identity of the hacker but instead of attacking him, instead offers him a deal. The exchange asks him to repay only 95% of the funds and keep the rest, but the offer is for a limited time.
