Are law enforcement officials implicated in the FTX case? In any case, this is what the lawyer and proponent of XRP John Deaton thinks. For this reason, Deaton started a petition which has already garnered over 3,800 signatures. Discover the contents of the document.
A petition to alert lawmakers
John Deaton thinks SEC Chairman Gary Gensler and former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried are related. He therefore decided to alert the legislators to convince them to carry out thorough investigations on the subject. Aware that his goal would be achieved more quickly if he was not alone, Deaton threw a public campaign. He wrote a petition that has already garnered nearly 4,000 signatures.
“Today, evidence has emerged that proves Gensler met the mastermind of what may be one of the biggest frauds in American history, Sam Bankman-Fried, before FTX’s multi-billion dollar collapse.“, we read in the petition. The document says there is data to prove there was a meeting between SEC executives and SBF.
The meeting focused on ano action letter“, while the SEC witnessed a massive fraud. The petition also says:This isn’t the first time Gensler has been in the grip of ethical doubt, such as when he was investigated by the Inspector General while serving as chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. (CFTC)“.
The petition urges Congress to open a full investigation. The latter will aim to determineGensler’s role in one of the biggest financial frauds in American history“.
John Deaton wins FTX case
Apart from the petition, John Deaton has rolled out a messaging feature on his website. He was then able to send messages to almost all senators and members of the House of Representatives. Finally, he got a conclusive result. A committee hearing of the House of Representatives Financial Services will take place in December on the FTX matter.
He expressed his joy on Twitter regarding this announcement. “I’m sure the naysayers will say this would have happened if not for the 12,500 messages sent […] and maybe it would have happened, but I can assure you that at least it contributed to the pressure. Good work“, did he declare.
Attorney Deaton is back, having played an active role in the lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple. Maybe he will help get those involved in the FTX case arrested!
