Exorde, the new fact-checking star

We are far from the 2010s when Facebook, from the Meta group, led the dance in social networks. There are now a plethora of social networks. So much so that in China, for example, it is not the platform created by Mark Zuckerberg that is dominant, but rather Weibo. Similarly, vk.com is the leader in Russia. As a result, it seems less relevant these days to analyze from the point of view of a single platform. This is where Exorde enters the dance and provides a complete picture of information on all platforms, regardless of country or language. Let’s see what the world of this new data verification champion is all about.

Once upon a time, Exordium

Historically, information has been at the center of a society’s power. This is even more true in the era of the advent of social networks. Just look at their influence in US elections.

The scent of scandal around this event made the world realize the propensity with which fake news, or false information, spreads on the net.

In a snap of the fingers, information travels the world, and even the real facts are disguised to the detriment of objectivity.

Several platforms such as Facebook or Twitter are trying to stem the problem, but they remain limited by the scope of their networks. Moreover, they quickly find themselves confronted with the difficulty of finding the primary sources and the objectivity of the information.

Based on this observation, Exorde provides a transversal solution that combines blockchain and decentralization in order to define new codes in terms of metadata processing. It is an initiative of Exorde Labs behind which there is a team with proven expertise.

Decentralization at the service of information transparency

Exorde is a decentralized, community-driven protocol that extracts people’s sentiments on various topics across the web in real time, regardless of linguistics or location.

Unlike its other competitors such as Bloomberg, Lunar Crush or IntoTheBlock which rely on centralized systems, Exorde has chosen to make decentralization its asset.

A global solution for a global problem

Regardless of the country, the language, the social network, Exorde decompartmentalizes the collection and processing of data for optimal fact-checking. Farewell to fake news of all kinds that parasitize information on a global scale.

Tracking, processing and archiving are the three parts on which Exorde bases its operation. In addition, the use cases are varied. They range from market forecasts to cyber-reputation, or e-reputation, and web trend analyses.

Market forecasts

The model used by Exorde has already proven itself. Thus, he was able to obtain results of veracity between 62.48% and 89.6%. In addition, with its Proof-of-Concept application, the platform makes it possible to track the number of bitcoins (BTC) in real time and even to predict the price of bitcoin.

Cyber-reputation or e-reputation

Reputation is very difficult to earn and can be lost in the blink of an eye. As a result, the identities and behaviors of Internet users have become a gold mine.

Exorde uses the same technology as its index to analyze global real-time public sentiment towards brands, personalities and current events.

This mechanism produces a reputation score thanks to the large amount of metadata collected. This is a worldwide survey as relevant for companies as for governments, which can thus anticipate their products or their communications.

Trending web analytics

Exorde works for greater accessibility to information beyond language and location barriers. It’s a new way to explore the web in an ecosystem where censorship is not at the rendezvous. In addition, past trends are archived there in order to preserve the transparency of the protocol.

The community at the heart of the Exorde ecosystem

Relying on decentralization makes it possible to best reflect reality, and therefore neutrality. Concretely, an individual cannot be neutral in the face of information. However, a group of random individuals arriving at the same result demonstrates the absence of bias.

Also, Exorde did not seek to adapt Web3 to its model, but rather to create a solution which emanates from it. Thus, the blockchain brings transparency to the protocol and ensures that it remains tamper-proof, which is beneficial when the information relates to controversial subjects.

The decentralized community is then the cornerstone of the operation of the protocol. To do this, it now relies on 70,000 contributors scattered around the world. It is its participants who make the data collection and analysis module operational.

The Exorde protocol around the EXD token

EXD is Exorde’s native token that rewards contributors for each task performed. It is an ERC-20 token of Ethereum. In addition, the quantity of tokens allowing the operation of the protocol is 200,000,000 EXD. Thus, the token performs three functions:

  • Gas for protocolclients place bounties on subjects in EXD tokens to encourage data collection and processing;
  • Awards for the participants in the working systems of the protocol according to the quality, the quantity of the data processed and the responsiveness;
  • Staking or locking of tokens by contributors to register and work within the protocol.

By rewarding users in this way, Exorde ensures complete anonymity, which is often necessary in countries where the sharing of information is controlled.

The four forces of Exorde

The protocol is based on four pillars, all as essential as each other in order to function:

  • Ethereum as a layer 1 network, the blockchain that supports tokenomics and the governance of Exorde;
  • SKALE as a layer 2 network, where users and contributors will connect;
  • IPFS and Filecoin as a decentralized storage network. Filecoin takes care of the distribution and is based on IPFS, an immutable and censorship-resistant storage network;
  • NLP, the branch of AI (Artificial Intelligence), makes it possible to recognize entities in a text, to extract sentences and facts, and to correlate them with each other.

The best is still to come

Exorde has reached the major milestones of its roadmap. We can mention among others the fundraising of 2.5 million dollars or the launch of the Testnet.

The protocol is thus at its last bend. To this end, two major events are still on the Exorde roadmap. These include in particular:

  • The public sale which will take place during the first quarter of 2023;
  • The launch of the mainnet scheduled for the second quarter of this year on the DEX (Decentralized Exchange) and CEX (Centralized Exchange) platforms.

To conclude

Exordium positions itself today in the world of tomorrow. It is at the forefront of metadata processing in the Web3, where individuals take back control of information. Too often left to decentralized organizations like the GAFAs, the consequences extend to the planetary scale. Thus, fake news has taken over our spaces. Exorde is therefore timely and provides us with the transparency and objectivity that we need. The protocol is only at the beginning of its adventure, but you can already consult information about the process and take part in it by becoming a contributor.
