The planning of the interventions is soon completed and everyone can follow the news communicated by the organizers on the social networks.

As we announced last week, a major event exclusively devoted to bitcoin (BTC) is being prepared in Dakar, on December 2 and 3, 2022. It will be a forum bringing together national and international speakers who will come to discuss bitcoin issues. Also, a hackathon for Senegalese students will take place.

This is an opportunity to announce that Tremplin.io will be the official partner of the Dakar Bitcoin Days, with on-site coverage of the event.

It should also be noted that Dakar Bitcoin Days also benefits from partnerships with Ledger and Fedi.

Here is a preliminary preview of the program for the first day:

A Hackathon for developers

First, the Hackathon (scheduled from December 2 at noon to December 3 at 1 p.m.) will tackle some everyday problems that bitcoin can solve. Four major issues have been identified: financial inclusion, access to financing, security of funds and low-cost transfers.

Then, it will be mainly intended for the Senegalese student community. It will be a public event bringing together more than 100 participants for 30 hours. The objective is as follows: To give participants visibility vis-à-vis the companies present and who will scrutinize what they are doing. They will receive an award at the end of the event and will be highlighted during the Dakar Bitcoin Days closing speech. By the way, registrations are already open, you can register here.
