Crypto: Solana ETFs have their biggest day of the year
Summarize this article with:

Solana crypto ETFs just saw $33.5 million in net inflows in a single session. This is their best day of 2026 and their fifth consecutive positive session. Cumulative flows now reach a record $1.22 billion. Bitwise still absorbs most of the money.

Massive institutional flows converge on Solana in a bustling trading room.

In brief

  • Solana ETFs attracted $33.5 million on Monday.
  • Cumulative entries now reach 1.22 billion.
  • BSOL from Bitwise concentrates almost 80% of the capital invested.

Solana crypto finds buyers again

The contrast with the start of the month is quite clear. On August 6, there were still five consecutive sessions without any new flows on the Solana ETFs. Since then, the money has been coming back. The current series began on August 18. Five sessions later, the funds attracted $61.8 million.

Monday alone brings 33.5 million. This is the largest daily entry since December and the best day recorded this year. The trading volume for this crypto is also increasing. It reached $166.8 million during the session, its highest level since October 2025.

Cumulative net inflows thus increase to $1.22 billion. Solana had never reached this level on its American crypto ETFs. A few weeks were enough to change the mood.

Bitwise takes almost everything

One name largely dominates the feeds. BSOL, Bitwise’s Solana ETF, captured $25 million on Monday. Its total has now reached $948.2 million. Almost 80% of the money entering US Solana ETFs is therefore in a single product.

Fidelity came in far behind on the day with $4.8 million for FSOL. Grayscale adds 3.7 million via GSOL. This concentration is not new. In May, Bitwise already largely dominated inflows into Solana ETFs.

BSOL had then exceeded $860 million in cumulative flows. Three months later, it is approaching a billion. Institutional investors now have several vehicles to gain exposure to SOL crypto without directly purchasing the tokens or managing their keys.

Staking also adds an argument. Some funds may redistribute a portion of the rewards generated by the SOLs they hold. For a traditional investor, exposure is therefore not based solely on the increase in price. Yield is also included in the calculation.

Solana joins Bitcoin and Ethereum in the movement

Streams aren’t just about Solana. Bitcoin ETFs have just had six positive days with an additional $338 million over the last session. The series has grossed around $2.3 billion.

Ethereum ETFs also post six consecutive sessions of entries. $116 million arrived on Monday. Solana is therefore moving forward in a market where institutional capital is returning to several large cryptos at the same time.

The difference remains the size. Bitcoin plays in yet another category. Ethereum too. But the $1.22 billion now accumulated on Solana ETFs shows that SOL no longer occupies just a marginal place in American listed products.

Wall Street is gradually expanding its territory. Morgan Stanley had already launched products exposed to Ethereum and Solana on the NYSE Arca. Monday adds a number to the record. 33.5 million dollars in one day. The 2026 record is here.
