A method that splits the creation of crypto blocks between the consensus proposer and the execution proposer. The consensus proposer selects the execution proposer, who commits to producing a valid block containing essential information! Such as a payment or a block hash, for the proposer.
A group of validators, known as the Payload Punctuality Committee (PTC), ensures that the execution proposer submits the promised block within the given time frame. This separation aims to reduce the computational load on the validators! Which in turn increases the efficiency and speed of the crypto network.
Even faster crypto transactions!
EIP-7732 addresses the growing demand for efficiency on the Ethereum blockchain. It follows Buterin’s push to speed up crypto transaction confirmation times. With EIP-1559’s transaction fee revision and stable block times after the merge, transaction confirmation on Ethereum is now reduced to between five and twenty seconds.
Although these speeds are comparable to credit card transactions, some applications require significantly faster speeds.
