Crypto: Cardano (ADA) and its new smart contracts

In about 6 months, the number of smart contracts tripled on the Cardano (ADA) open-source blockchain. Additionally, Cardano is expected to launch a JavaScript implementation as well as dApps for iOS and Android. At the same time, a Swiss bank began offering ADA staking for institutional investors.

The Cardano (ADA) ecosystem continues to grow

The bear market does not prevent the Cardano (ADA) ecosystem from developing. As proof, the quantity of smart contracts that the blockchain supports recently passed the 3000 mark. Currently, there are precisely 3014 smart contracts on the network, while in February 2022 there were only 1000. Cardano (ADA) compatible with JavaScript programming language.

The objective is to achieve create a link between the ecosystem and all browsers in the world. Similarly, Cardano intends to soon offer decentralized applications (dApps) that can run on iOS and Android. Users will soon be able to start sending and receiving ADA on their smartphone using the Flint Wallet.

On this, Sebastien Guillemot, CTO and co-founder of dcSpark, said: “The dApp Browser is now available for iOS. Compatible with all dApps on Cardano! No developer settings are needed. Our new fast backend is also almost ready! Android is in preparation.“.

Furthermore, the Cardano blockchain (ADA) is increasingly adopted around the world. For example, earlier this month, Sygnum Bank, a Swiss bank, said it would now offer ADA staking. This new service will allow institutions to invest securely in the Cardano market.

Amidst all this good news about activity in the Cardano (ADA) ecosystem, there is bad news. Indeed, the network recently announced another postponement of the Vasil hardfork which is however highly anticipated.
