ChatGPT defies the bear market: record gains for AI cryptos

ChatGPT conversational AI is an unprecedented technological revolution. Since its commissioning, this artificial intelligence has broken record after record. The crypto sector is not left out of this dynamic.

41% growth for crypto AI projects thanks to ChatGPT

Since its operationalization in November 2022, ChatGPT has been a veritable tsunami in terms of adoption. Indeed, the platform has won over a million daily users in just five days. A total reaching 100 monthly users in January 2023 and which could exceed one billion users today.

The numbers speak for themselves: ChatGPT is more than popular. And this popularity is particularly noticeable in the crypto sector. This is demonstrated a recent study by Blockchain Research Laba crypto research institute based in Germany.

According to the firm, ChatGPT has, since its launch, had a resounding impact on crypto projects focused on artificial intelligence. Overall, Blockchain Research Lab reports an increase in their performance of 41%.

“The launch of ChatGPT significantly impacted the performance of AI-related cryptos, despite an overall bearish market and investor risk appetite. Using synthetic differences, we saw average price increases of at least 10.7% (35.5%) in the one to two month period post-launch.”notes the report.

He adds : “While 10.7% and 35.5% represented the bottom of price increases over periods of one to two months [suivant le lancement de ChatGPT, Ndlr]the cap increased to 15.6% and 41.3%, respectively”.

For Blockchain Research Lab, these results would therefore be closely linked to the perception that investors have of crypto initiatives, focused on AI.

The consequence is that now, many users are more convinced of the potential of AI-based crypto projects than before. This, even though the bear market is still as virulent. Not to mention that the educational capabilities of ChatGPT may have supported this trend.
