A new era for Guinness World Records

The title of the first decentralized crypto came with the history of its creation by the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto. He published the white paper in 2008, which was made available to the public in 2009.

The effort of Guinness World Records is quite commendable in that it has included the new technologies that are an integral part of our daily lives. It has nevertheless been the subject of some constructive criticism. Indeed, some errors have been reported by Guinness Records such as the number of Bitcoin in a single Nakamoto wallet. This was also the case with the publication date of the whitepaper and certain differentiations between validators and miners in proof-of-work (PoW) blockchains.

This new edition has been available for sale since last month. The addition of this new category reflects the prominent place occupied by cryptocurrency in the contemporary world.
