Bitcoin (BTC): Another unsuccessful bet from Drake

Crypto investing doesn’t seem to be for everyone. Although bitcoin (BTC) has many advantages, it might not be suitable for everyone. Rapper Drake certainly knows more than ordinary mortals since once again, a failure is added to the list.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Drake, a real curse?

Aubrey Drake Graham, better known as Drake, is without doubt one of the best rappers of his generation. With a colossal fortune under his belt, everything seems to smile on him, but not crypto investing. Indeed, the artist chained losses when it comes to bitcoin. Recently, he bet about $600,000 in BTC on football.

The latter would have bet that Arsenal would beat Leeds United and that FC Barcelona would win El Clasico against Real Madrid. However, not everything went as planned. Unfortunately for him, his favorite lost three goals to one against the capital team. Remember that Drake has just signed a contract with FC Barcelona.

Because of this, he invested in bitcoins (BTC) in the Catalan team to win the most anticipated game in Spain. Through these two failures, the Canadian rapper recorded a loss of nearly $2.8 million. However, it seems that the two teams he bet on are not the real causes of his misfortunes.

Indeed, for several months, the singer and actor has been chaining sports bets in bitcoins which end in failure. Earlier this year in March, Drake lost $275,000 betting that Jorge Masvidal would beat Colby Covington at UFC 272. Two months later, he was down again for $234,000 in bitcoin.

The Drake Curse has touched many people. Between footballer Paul Pogba, Max Verstappen and Layvin Kurzawa, the presence of the rapper seems to spell disaster. Sports betting, and more specifically Bitcoin (BTC) investing, may be for everyone but Drake. Whichever sportsman he has supported so far, he has lost.
