Binance returns to positive flows after several days of massive withdrawals. According to DefiLlama data from November 3, 2026, the crypto platform records $2.3 billion in net inflows over 24 hours. The day before, it posted more than $7 billion in outflows. This reversal comes five days after the hack of 6.3 billion dollars which caused the suspension of withdrawals.

In brief
- Binance records $2.3 billion in net inflows over 24 hours.
- As of November 2, the platform posted more than $7 billion in net outflows.
- Binance claims to have already replenished 95% of the assets affected by the hack.
Binance regains $2.3 billion in positive flows
The turnaround is quick. Two days after reactivating withdrawals on 15 blockchain networks, Binance regains first place among exchanges for daily net inflows. Data from DefiLlama indicates $2.3 billion in positive flows over the last 24 hours.
Bitfinex comes in a distant second with around $280 million. Bitget follows with 127 million. These figures place Binance well ahead of other centralized platforms tracked by DefiLlama. On November 3, the exchange confirmed on X that hourly deposits now exceeded withdrawals since 3 a.m. UTC. An important development after the strong demand for withdrawals recorded during the weekend.
However, users continue to withdraw cryptos. Positive flows simply mean that the value of incoming assets exceeds the value of outgoing funds over the observed period. A first reading taken earlier Tuesday already indicated $1.82 billion in net inflows. The amount then reached 2.3 billion.
Data is constantly evolving. This return of deposits also comes after the reopening of certain withdrawals in fiat currencies on Monday. Binance had started restoring crypto withdrawals on Sunday, after a hiatus of around two days. The recovery remains gradual depending on the assets and networks.
More than $7 billion had left Binance the day before
The contrast with previous days is important. As of Sunday, November 1, more than $4 billion had left Binance after withdrawals reopened. In particular, users had moved large quantities of USDT, bitcoins and other crypto assets.
According to figures communicated by Binance, the platform had processed $4.65 billion in withdrawals against only 1.01 billion deposits during the first nine and a half hours of recovery.
The negative balance reached $3.64 billion. On Monday, DefiLlama noted more than $7 billion in net outflows over a rolling 24-hour period. OKX took the opportunity to take the lead in the daily rankings with approximately $445 million in entries. Bybit received 112 million, compared to 91 million for Gate and 54 million for Bitget.
The situation changed on Tuesday. It is nevertheless necessary to distinguish on-chain data from withdrawals actually made by customers. Movements between internal portfolios may also appear in certain measures.
DefiLlama’s statements also do not cover exactly the same assets as the reserve reports published by Binance. Another clarification: the $2.3 billion in daily inflows do not compensate for the outflows accumulated since the hack. A statement published Tuesday still showed around $11.8 billion in net outflows over seven days, despite the return of positive daily flows. Binance has therefore not yet returned to its situation before the attack.
Binance replenishes its reserves and tries to reassure
The resumption of deposits supports the financial efforts undertaken by Binance since October 29. The exchange claims to have reconstituted approximately 95% of the assets affected by the hack as of November 1. The remaining 5% corresponds mainly to less liquid tokens. Their acquisition requires more time, especially when the quantities available on the market are limited.
Binance uses its cash, part of the SAFU fund and resources from its futures insurance fund. The platform is committed to covering losses without passing them on to its customers. Around $3 billion in stolen assets were also frozen with the help of crypto industry players. These amounts are separate from the resources mobilized by Binance to replace the missing funds.
Richard Teng, co-chief executive officer of Binance, said at Hong Kong Fintech Week on Tuesday that the company’s financial position remains strong. He also claims that inbound and outbound flows have largely normalized. The next few days will allow us to check whether this stabilization continues.
The return of deposits is an improvement after mass withdrawals, without guaranteeing that all users have regained confidence. Binance nevertheless has significant capacity to attract capital. In August, the platform had already recorded $15.7 billion in net inflows over one month. The 2.3 billion observed on Tuesday only relate to 24 hours and cannot be directly compared to this monthly result. After the hack, maintaining deposits and fully resuming withdrawals will make it possible to more accurately measure the return to normal.
