Binance relies on AI to automate trading
Summarize this article with:

Binance will gradually launch Binance AI Pro in the second half of October 2026. This agent will convert instructions written in everyday language into automated strategies, but each user will have to approve their execution and manually fund a dedicated sub-account.

In the center, the large robot in Binance colors personifies AI. He dominates the room and directly manipulates crypto assets: the idea is that certain operations formerly carried out manually by traders can now be executed automatically by algorithmic systems. Robotic arms reinforce this idea of automation. They move bitcoins like on a production line: trading visually becomes a factory operating continuously, with speed and repetition. On the left and in the foreground, human traders remain present, but they mainly occupy a surveillance position. This contrast suggests that humans now supervise an infrastructure where the machine takes over an increasing part of the execution. The numerous financial screens represent the constant analysis of markets and data by AI. The global map also suggests a system capable of simultaneously monitoring an internationally operating crypto market.

In brief

  • Binance AI Pro will turn simple instructions into automated trading strategies.
  • Each strategy must be validated by the user before its execution.
  • The funds will remain isolated in a manually funded sub-account.
  • Paper trading will allow strategies to be tested with fictitious funds.
  • The soft launch will begin in the second half of October 2026.

Binance AI Pro automates strategy creation

The user will be able to describe an idea, its assets, its conditions and its risk parameters without writing code. The tool, an AI agent, will then generate a strategy accompanied by a visual diagram that presents the different steps of the process.

This approach is similar to “vibe coding”a method in which the user explains the desired outcome and lets artificial intelligence produce the computer logic. The operation announced is based on several stages:

  • The user formulates his idea in natural language;
  • AI asks for clarification when the rules remain unclear;
  • It generates a strategy and its operating diagram;
  • The user can modify each module per conversation;
  • Approval remains necessary before any execution;
  • The validated strategy can then operate continuously.

On desktop, Binance will display the conversation and the diagram side by side. The user will be able to select a module, modify its conditions or delete a step. On mobile, the interaction will mainly be based on conversation, while the full view will remain available on computer.

Jeff Li, vice president of product for the platform, asserts :

Unlike a general AI that just talks about the market, our agent uses data, execution, research, and third-party sources curated by Binance.

Binance AI Pro will not directly control funds

Each active strategy will operate in a separate subaccount. The user will have to manually transfer the funds he wishes to commit there. The agent will not be able to move the money held in the main account alone.

This partitioning aims to limit the amount exposed in the event of incorrect configuration or unexpected behavior. The permissions granted may also be reduced or revoked by the user.

The tool must present the workflow before its deployment. This step can help identify a bad decimal place, an inconsistent price range or a missing stopping condition. However, it does not guarantee that the chosen logic is adapted to the market.

Binance also provides a paper trading. It will allow you to test a strategy with fictitious funds before activating it. This simulation remains imperfect, as it does not always reproduce the liquidity, price slippage or execution speed encountered in real-world conditions.

Automation can finally amplify an error. A poorly defined grid, for example, can increase purchases during a prolonged decline. A clear instruction on paper can also produce a different result if the AI misinterprets a threshold or uses outdated data.

Automated trading will cost 19.99 USDC per month

Binance AI Pro will be based on a freemium formula. The standard offer will allow you to perform queries and generate preview strategies for free, within the limit of a monthly number of credits.

Deployment in real conditions will require the Premium offer, billed at 19.99 USDC per month. This formula will include automated execution, paper trading, several artificial intelligence models and the purchase of additional credits.

The launch will begin gradually during the second half of October. Binance did not provide a detailed timeline by country. The available functions may therefore vary depending on jurisdiction, account type and local regulatory restrictions.

The platform also reminds that the instructions entered can be used to train its systems. Users should therefore avoid including unnecessary confidential information in their queries.

Binance does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of the results generated. The company warns that responses may contain errors, biases or synthetic data. It also specifies that it does not constitute financial advice.

Binance Intelligence also extends to users and developers

Binance AI Pro is the second tier of a broader suite called Binance Intelligence. The first, Binance AI, will gradually be offered free to all users since October 5.

This version brings together information from cryptos, stocks, macroeconomics and on-chain data. It must generate personalized summaries, alerts and interfaces adapted to the knowledge level of each user.

“Blockchain gives everyone access to markets, AI gives everyone the knowledge necessary to navigate them”says Richard Teng, co-general manager of Binance. This promise remains that of the company and must be evaluated in use.

The third level, Agent OS, targets developers. This infrastructure, launched in August, allows external applications to access market data, portfolios and certain trading functions according to defined permissions.

Agent OS notably supports ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Binance claims it already handles more than 280,000 calls daily.

The novelty therefore does not only lie in AI-assisted analysis. Binance now brings strategy generation closer to actual execution. This reduction in technical barriers makes automation easier, but it shifts more responsibility to instruction quality and human verification.
