After several weeks marked by high volatility, Ethereum is showing signs of recovery which are rekindling investor expectations. The second-largest cryptocurrency has rebounded from its low point in June and is once again attracting the attention of analysts. Several technical indicators and the growing interest of institutional players fuel a favorable scenario in the short term. However, certain signals still call for caution, while the market remains torn between the prospect of a further rise and the risk of a temporary decline.

In brief
- Ethereum has rebounded 17% since its June low and is currently trading around $1,750.
- Several analysts believe that breaking through current resistance could pave the way for a return to $2,000, or even $2,500.
- Ethereum spot ETFs are recording their longest run of gains since April, supported by renewed interest from institutional investors.
- Despite this positive dynamic, an RSI at 70 places Ethereum in the overbought zone, raising the risk of a short-term correction.
Ethereum consolidates its rebound after its June low point
The market is showing signs of recovery after several weeks of weakness. Ethereum is now trading at levels closely monitored by analysts, who observe several technical thresholds likely to influence the next trend.
Here are the main figures which reflect the extent of this new development:
- Ether price at time of writing: $1,745;
- Increase of 8% over one week;
- 17% increase since June low;
- Resistance between $1,820 and $1,850;
- Double dip pattern formed below $1,800.
After testing its resistance zone, the asset suffered a rejection. Despite this, several observers believe that remaining above the current support constitutes an encouraging signal for the future. Ted, an analyst on
For his part, Poseidon estimated that the double dip pattern formed by Ethereum is a configuration generally interpreted as a favorable signal for the continuation of the rebound. The analyst goes further by estimating that the price could reach $2,500 before September if this dynamic is confirmed.
Institutional flows reinforce bullish outlook
The renewed interest of institutional investors accompanies this improvement in the market. Data shows that ETH-backed spot ETFs have recorded five consecutive sessions of gains. This is their longest positive streak since April, something closely followed by the markets.

This dynamic reflects an increase in the exposure of pension funds, hedge funds and other institutional investors. As a result, several large asset managers have stepped up their ETH purchases in order to meet this demand. This movement supports Ethereum’s prospects, since these purchases can help reinforce the dynamics observed for several weeks.
Ali Martinez also recalls that the support located around $1,580 has already played a decisive role during previous cycles. He writes in a post on X:
Ethereum is once again testing the historical significance of its support at $1,580. Over the past three years, this level has established itself as the main demand zone, halting corrections before triggering powerful increases: +149% in October 2023, +203% in April 2025, then a recent rebound towards the $1,800 resistance. As long as the $1,580 threshold is preserved, the bullish outlook remains intact and a similar scenario remains entirely possible.

According to him, this level made it possible to interrupt significant corrections before accompanying increases of 149% in 2023 then 203% the following year. These precedents fuel expectations of a new phase of progression.
Technical indicators, however, call for caution
Despite this more favorable context, several elements invite us to remain vigilant. L’Ethereum Relative Strength Index (RSI) Reaches 70. In technical analysis, this level generally corresponds to an overbought situation, likely to cause a short-term correction.
The RSI moves on a scale between 0 and 100. Levels below 30 are usually associated with rebound opportunities, while levels near 70 can herald a market breathing phase. This reading does not necessarily indicate a lasting reversal, but it does highlight additional volatility risk.
Some analysts also defend a more cautious scenario. KALEO estimated that Ethereum could still experience a decline towards $1,000 before starting a much more marked upward movement. According to this hypothesis, this decline phase would precede a potential return towards $5,000 in the longer term.
The market therefore remains divided between favorable technical outlooks and signals of caution in the short term. If Ethereum maintains its main support levels and benefits from continued institutional flows, the next sessions will confirm whether the $2,000 target can be reached or whether a new phase of consolidation is required before a more sustainable recovery.
