Binance's blockchain provides 3 strategic hard forks

BNB Chain, Binance's blockchain, plans to implement Hard Fork Pascal on its main network in mid-March 2025. This major technical development aims mainly to integrate native intelligent contracts, thus aligning the blockchain on future features d'Ethereum.

The new intelligent portfolios will make significant improvements in terms of safety and efficiency. They will include advanced features such as managing expenditure limits and lots transactions.

Integration of BEP-439 protocolequivalent to EIP-2537 of Ethereum, will make it possible to bring together several digital signatures in one, thus optimizing the verification of transactions.

BNB Chain's 2025 roadmap does not stop there. Two other hard forks are scheduled: Lorentz in April 2025, which will reduce the intervals between the blocks to 1.5 seconds, followed by Maxwell in June, targeting even shorter intervals of 0.75 seconds.

A promising strategic renewal

BNB Chain's Pascal upgrade arrives at a crucial moment for the ecosystem. After losing ground against Solana and Ethereum in the DEFI field, BNB Chain is currently experiencing a significant renewed interest.

This Renaissance is notably due to an unexpected phenomenon: the craze for the same, triggered by a simple mention of the dog broccoli by Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance.

The results of this renewal are already visible on the market. The BNB token has recorded an impressive increase of 14 % over the last two weeks, while its competitor Solana has seen its value fall by more than 10 %, assigned by controversies linked to initiates and scandals in its ecosystem of the same.

The developers of BNB Chain clearly indicated their intention to capitalize on this momentum by integrating the support of the same in their 2025 strategy, while strengthening the technical fundamentals of the blockchain thanks to the hard fork Pascal.

In short, this major technical development, combined with the renewed market interest, could well mark a decisive turning point for BNB Chain in its quest to win back its dominant position in the crypto ecosystem.
