Crypto: Keiser calls all altcoins a scam

Max Keizer is a strong bitcoin advocate. A label that regularly leads him to make controversial statements about the economic utility of bitcoin. He firmly believes that bitcoin is the only valid asset in the crypto market.

ETH, XRP and ADA, all shitcoins for Max Keiser

Max Keiser has again given a layer about some leading altcoins. The bitcoin pro referred to Ripple’s XRP, Cardano’s ADA, and Ethereum’s Ether as shitcoins. According to him, all these cryptos would be just a big scam, pixie powder.

“Selling toxic waste to innocent people is not an innovation. Scammers have been doing it for 2000 years. Shitcoins are, by definition, scams. This includes ETH, XRP, ADA, BNB + 20,000 others and NFTs”said the bitcoin (BTC) maximalist.

His statement more than aggressive did not leave the crypto community indifferent. Regarding XRP, John Deaton, a supporter of the crypto native of Ripple, reacted to the incendiary remarks of Max Keizer. He pointed out to him that the situation he is denouncing about the asset was exactly that of bitcoin before. As a result, his argument that XRP is a shitcoin simply does not hold water. As a result, his wish for the SEC to crack down more heavily on the asset on this same ground is foolish.

It must be said that Max Keizer is used to controversies involving cryptos and often opponents of bitcoin. On the typical case of XRP, the bitcoin pro once took on the crypto last year.

At the time, he castigated a weak decentralization of the platform. This, by pointing the finger at the uselessness, according to him, of the asset for the crypto community. Recently, David Schwartz, the CTO of Ripple, relayed a tweet about Uniswap.

A relay supposed to highlight the utopian aspect of decentralization advocated by some crypto platforms. His idea is that in truth, no crypto exchange is perfectly decentralized.
