Ripple’s XRP currently ranks 5e place of the most dynamic cryptos on the market. A position which reveals its potential in the short and medium term. In the long term, crypto could further confirm its relevance. Particularly in the payments sector. At least that’s the view of a financial expert.
The crypto XRP, a reinforcement for the traditional banking system…
Sharing his analysis of the current progress of the financial ecosystem, Kyren, an expert in this industry, gave his opinion on a crypto. This is Ripple’s XRP, which the specialist believes will revolutionize the payments sector.
XRP would, according to him, the future of the financial system. The expert draws on his four years of expertise in the financial sector to make this bold projection, to say the least. It is based on some of the elements in particular.
Kyren believes that the unique attributes of XRP, as a cross-border digital payments system, will catalyze a transformation within the financial sector. It would then transcend current financial constraints and the challenges associated with centralization.
The expert alludes to the slow processing of transactions and the exorbitant fees associated with the modern banking system. Difficulties which have affected its effectiveness for a very long time and for which XRP would be the solution.
…Thanks to its intrinsic qualities
The specialist explains this by the ability of XRP to execute transactions at lightning speeds. All this while incurring costs as small as a fraction of a cent. Not to mention, he adds, the transparency of the asset, obtained thanks to blockchain technology.
“As we all know, traditional banking services are incredibly slow and inefficient. International payments can take up to two days, with costs sometimes reaching $50 or a significant percentage of the transaction,” Kyren explained.
And to add: “With $XRP and $XLM, we now have the ability to send value globally and receive it in seconds, while incurring fees of less than a fraction of a cent”.
Kyren’s opinion corroborates that of Ripple’s general counsel. In July, the latter was also optimistic about the potential of XRP to facilitate cross-border transactions in the United States. Currently, Ripple offers crypto services in over 50 countries across the globe.
