The 2023 edition of the World Series of Trading (WSoT) organized by the Bybit exchange will indeed take place. After the success of previous editions, the exchange platform plans to do things big this year to offer unique and memorable moments to all participants. The WSoT: a booming competition
Since 2020, the crypto exchange Bybit has organized the World Series of Trading (WSoT) tournament every year to promote excellence and push participants to improve and take a step forward in their trading activity.
After three successful first editions, the results are positive. The WSoT generated over $177 billion in trading volume and had over 117,000 participants. The time has now come to launch the2023 edition of the event.
Two competitions to choose from
Traders who wish to participate in the WSoT 2023 can opt for one of the two competitions offered: the Squad Showdown and the Copy Trading Fest.
The Squad Showdown
The Squad Showdown brings together the best traders in the world. They can go it alone or participate in a group. Whatever the option chosen, the objective remains the same: to achieve the best performance in order to win the crown. The Squad Showdown focuses on derivative products, ranked according to their performance (risk/reward ratio).
The Copy Trading Fest
As for the Copy Trading Fest, it is a competition divided into two contests: the Master Traders and a special followers contest. Master Traders are experienced investors who must compete with their peers with the goal of being in the top 10. Followers, on the other hand, must ensure that they are in the top 50 to hope for rewards.
Lots of rewards
The total prize pool awarded to the fourth edition of the World Series of Trading is $8 million.
- On the Squad Showdown side, the top traders will share $6 million.
- On the Copy Trading Fest side, 300,000 dollars were allocated to reward the best performing traders.
- In addition to the rewards to be won by taking part in the two flagship tournaments of the event, Bybit is planning other prizes for the most active participants. Indeed, traders can win a Lamborghini and Rolex watches during the live broadcast of the event on August 24, 2023.
- Finally, a WSoT raffle representing a total of 620,000 dollars is also on the program.
Who can participate in the WSoT?
Bybit’s WSoT is available to all passionate traders who want to compete with other investors. There are no restrictions and no specific skills are required. However, traders must first register on the platform and have a balance greater than or equal to $500.
When does the contest start?
WSoT 2023 will take place from August 7-27. Registration for the competition will begin on July 24 and end on August 17. THE registrations are done directly on the platform.
However, traders wishing to be team leaders can already go to the platform to register. Team leader registration began on July 13 and will end on July 31, 2023.
