Vodafone chooses Cardano for its NFT collection

Cardano has seen significant progress this year, both in development and in actual adoption. Vodafone, a global telecommunications leader, is now opting for Cardano in its NFT collection, moving away from popular platforms such as Ethereum, Polygon and Solana. This decision reflects Cardano’s competitive advance in the blockchain.

Concrete progress and growing adoption!

Cardano has had a successful year in network development, with updates covering various aspects, such as nodes, governance, and scalability.

With these significant improvements, Cardano has managed to increase its real-world adoption and outperform some of its competitors. According to recent data collected by Finbold, the number of new addresses registered on Cardano has exceeded 318,578 since the start of the year.

In this context, Vodafone’s decision to launch its collection of non-fungible digital assets (NFTs) on the Cardano network makes sense, demonstrating its choice to favor this platform over other well-established Blockchains.

As Dailycoin reports, the announcement was made on the Twitter account of the German customer service of Vodafone, thus confirming the decision of the German branch to launch a collection of NFTs on the Cardano network. NMKR founder Patrick Tobler also highlighted the news in a tweet dated Wednesday, June 28. This initiative will need to take place in one of the major NFT marketplaces.

Vodafone praised Cardano’s efforts. In a message to community members on the project’s Discord server, Vodafone expressed gratitude to the project’s early supporters, highlighting their essential role.

“The reason we chose this particular channel comes down to community, sustainability as well as cross-channel possibilities. We are still in the early stages of this project, so everyone who is here now are already very early supporters and we appreciate that,” reads the message.

Although the exact benefits have yet to be determined, Vodafone is open to suggestions from the community.

Overall, Cardano continues to make significant advancements in its development and attract real-world use cases. The choice of Vodafone is a positive signal for the Cardano community and consolidates its position in the NFT and crypto market in general.
