Under the Musk era, Twitter integrates BTC and ETH price indices into its search function

Looks like Elon Musk’s “Twitter 2.0” plan is on the right track. In just 2 months of reign, the American multi-billionaire was able to revolutionize the blue bird social network in his own way. Pro-cryptocurrency, he has always spoken of a possible integration of these assets into his newly acquired platform. Now it’s done: traders and tweeters can now find BTC and ETH price indices on Twitter.

Twitter gets a new function allocated to cryptos

One of many improvements to Twitter’s financial side. A great job from the Twitter team. »

How will Elon Musk not be jubilant after such news? He who proudly bears the title of “DogeFather”, who does not hesitate to promote bitcoin, ethereum and Dogecoin.

Cointelegraph revealed today that Twitter now allows searches for “$Bitcoin”, “Bitcoin price” and “BTC price” on its platform. These maneuvers are also possible for the 2e world’s largest cryptocurrency, ethereum.

This is sort of an enhancement to “$Cashtags” that Twitter Business announced yesterday. In this announcement, it was said that for each addition of the “$” symbol in front of a stock, cryptocurrency or exchange-traded fund, Twitter users will quickly access a link. By clicking on it, they will see search results that include price charts associated with those symbols.

Also note that the price charts include a “View on Robinhood” link. Clicking on it will give users access to Robinhood prices for ETH and BTC. This part also incorporates a link relating to the “Sign Up to Buy Ethereum” section.

Will Elon Musk create his own cryptocurrency?

The chart is actually an image from TradingView with URLs like [ceci]. »

This was reported by blogger Jane Mastodon Wong. Information also confirmed by CryptoSlate in writing :

Each chart features the logo of market-monitoring site TradingView and a link to popular stock and cryptocurrency trading app Robinhood. »

However, no information has leaked regarding collaborations between Twitter, TradingView and Robinhood.

It should also be noted that rumors circulated at the beginning of the month about the launch by Twitter of its own cryptocurrency: Twitter Coin. Apparently, this asset will allow users to make payments on the platform, to name only Twitter Blue subscription.

However, Elon Musk has just announced his departure from the management of Twitter following an online survey. CZ, who did not approve of this resignation, would he be right to support a pro-cryptocurrency profile?
