The Bitcoin 2024 conference has proven to be fertile ground for Trump’s campaign. According to Bitcoin Magazine CEO David Bailey, the former president managed to raise an impressive $21 million at the event.
This amount comes from primarily from a fundraiser held at the Nashville Music City Center after Trump's 48-minute speech.
The event attracted around 100 attendees, including prominent figures from the crypto industry and showbiz. Gemini co-founders Winklevoss brothers, as well as celebrities like Kid Rock and Billy Ray Cyrus, were reportedly in attendance.
The prices were commensurate with the event: $844,600 for a “roundtable” with Trump, and at least $60,000 for a photo.

This financial success is part of a broader strategy to seduce the crypto electorate by Donald Trump. Since May 2024, his campaign has raised $4 million in crypto, including more than $2.15 million from just 19 donors.

During his speech in Nashville, Trump announced several pro-industry measures, including the creation of a strategic Bitcoin reserve and the potential firing of Gary Gensler, the SEC chairman and a known crypto skeptic.
