The world’s largest crypto event returns to Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8, 2026. What sets this edition apart: after the Dubai edition postponed to April 2027, TOKEN2049 Singapore is the brand’s only major gathering this year. This focuses all of the industry’s attention, and likely a flurry of announcements, into two days. Tremplin.io is a publishing partner, with a discount code.

Why 2026 is focusing all the attention on Singapore
Usually, TOKEN2049 punctuates the year in two stages: an edition in Dubai in the spring, an edition in Singapore in the fall. The postponement of the Dubai event to April 2027 changes the situation. Singapore becomes the brand’s only major gathering point in 2026, making it, in practice, the place where most players will choose to unveil products, lifts and partnerships. The 2025 edition was already sold out, so the pressure on tickets is far from theoretical.
The scale, for its part, remains difficult to compare with anything else in the sector. Founded in Hong Kong in 2018, the event moved its flagship to Singapore in 2022 and is now taking over the five floors of Marina Bay Sands. The figures cited by the organizer (more than 25,000 participants, 160 countries represented) describe less of a conference than an entire industry week, extended by TOKEN2049 Week and its fifty or so side events scattered around the city.
Who goes on stage, and what’s happening around
The announced programming mixes platform executives, funds and public figures from the crypto world. Among the names cited by the organizer (subject to change): Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, Paolo Ardoino, manager at Tether, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, and Vlad Tenev, who runs Robinhood. The final program and timetables are continuously updated on the official website.
Beyond the keynotes, the format goes far beyond the conference room. NEXUS confronts selected startups (500 applications, 10 finalists) on a global stage. Origins, the internal hackathon, aims to go from idea to functional product in 36 hours. And AFTER 2049, the official closing party, takes place on October 9 at Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, 200 meters above the bay. For many, it is these side events, more than the conferences, that justify the trip.
A useful note for European readers: some speakers represent platforms whose access is restricted or not harmonized within the European Union. Their presence on stage is an industrial conversation, not a recommendation, and it is up to everyone to verify the eligibility of the services mentioned from their own jurisdiction.
What it costs, and what the code changes
Ticketing works in stages, in US dollars, and prices increase as quotas fill up. The very first waves (Super Early Bird) start around a few hundred dollars, the general price then rises to around $1,299 for the last tranche, and the Special Access pass (VIP), which opens access to lounges, receptions and priority, is around $4,999. The exact price therefore depends on the current sales phase: it is better to check the price displayed at the time of booking.
The code COINTRIBUNE10 offers a 10% reduction on this current level, directly at the checkout via the partner link. Keep in mind: the ticket does not cover the flight to Singapore or accommodation, by far the biggest expense for a visitor from Europe, and the AFTER 2049 party requires a separate ticket or Special Access pass.
One last thought. By becoming the only major TOKEN2049 of the year, the Singaporean edition will undoubtedly absorb the announcements that others could have distributed between Dubai and Asia. In other words, what is said at Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8 will carry a little more weight than usual in the story of the last quarter. The open question is whether this concentration mainly benefits large established players, or still leaves room for projects on the rise. Answers on stage, early October.
