The revival of FTX would be impossible

Anthony Scaramucci of Skybridge, an investment company, is skeptical that FTX can take off again. In a podcast with Frank Chaparro of The Block, he shared his opinion on the bankruptcy of the famous crypto exchange and the management of the case in the United States.

The Block relaying on Twitter the comments of Anthony Scaramucci according to which a reboot of FTX would not be possible.

Scaramucci doesn’t see how an FTX comeback would be possible

Skybridge Capital, Anthony Scaramucci’s investment firm, is closely tied to FTX. However, the man who still calls himself the Mooch don’t think a return of FTX, the now defunct crypto exchange, is already possible. According to statements reported by TheBlockhe reportedly said:

I don’t see how it is possible to restart FTX… Not much money is being made on these exchanges at the moment, and so many of these exchanges are in the red, and they burn the capital they raised in these private placements, waiting for a new bull market to begin. And waiting for a higher volume. The comments were recorded during an episode of The Block’s The Scoop podcast with Frank Chaparro.

FTX, once valued at $32 billion, officially filed for bankruptcy after a run on the FTT, its native token. Today, the new management team has been put together to manage the bankruptcy of the exchange. Nevertheless, the more the procedure evolves and the more it considers a possible restart. If a restart is possible, it will not be effective before 2024.

Skybridge stands to gain if the exchange restarts

Skybridge Capital has strong ties to the fallen exchange as Scaramucci’s investment firm invested in FTX. The fallen crypto exchange has, in turn, invested in Skybridge. Scaramucci has expressed interest in buying back its stake in the exchange, even if he doubts that the company will recover. Something FTX has confirmed.

I don’t see how they would restart. I don’t see the positives in restarting, frankly. But you know I was wrong about so many things said Scaramucci.

A reboot of FTX as is wouldn’t be a good idea, Scaramucci thinks. The bankrupt exchange is more likely to sell its license and software in order to restart under a different name. But will this strategy make it possible to reimburse their disappointed customers?
