This deployment places the Region at the forefront of innovation in digital payments in the luxury tourism, retail and hotels areas.
Present in Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Monaco and the surrounding area, this initiative brings together a wide variety of establishments, restaurants and luxury businesses with private beaches and local service providers, making payments in cryptos more accessible than ever in one of the most emblematic tourist destinations in Europe.
This launch is a continuation of an ambitious objective set earlier this year by the municipal authorities of Cannes, aimed at promoting the generalized adoption of digital assets by local merchants. Thanks to the strong support of elected officials and a growing demand for international visitors, the Côte d'Azur quickly established itself as a model of concrete adoption of the crypto.
The partnership between Binance Pay and Lyzi offers fluid and secure crypto payment experience for merchants and customers. Local and travelers can now set their expenses in stablecoins or other cryptocurrencies, at no cost of Gas for a wide range of services, simply by scanning a QR code and validating the transaction quickly. From accommodation to restaurants, including car rental or shopping: everything is adjusted in a few clicks.
Thanks to this solution which covers the hotel industry, catering, trade and transport, visitors can now organize all their stay on the Côte d'Azur using only crypto payments. Integration via Binance Pay and Lyzi allows you to take care of more than 100 cryptocurrencies, including stablecoins leaning against the euro or dollar, with rapid regulations in euros for merchants, thus offering a simple and efficient shopping experience.
With transaction costs much lower than those of traditional means of payment, and reinforced security functions, such as encryption of transfers, two factors authentication and real -time confirmations, Binance Pay represents an option of trust, intuitive and accessible.
