Bob Lee died in hospital after being found suffering from stab wounds in the San Francisco Police Department earlier this month. The attack on Bob Lee: a premeditated attack?
Police Chief Bill Scott recently announced the arrest of Nima Momeni, a tech executive. On April 4, the latter would have attacked with a knife Bob Lee, the creator of Cash App, the application which had a makeover last October. The news was announced at a press conference held on April 13. San Francisco police say there are evidence that Momeni and Bob Lee knew each other. However, she made no statement about what might be the motive for the attack.
To solve this case, search and arrest warrants were executed in San Francisco and Emeryville. This resulted in Momeni being taken into custody, according to San Francisco police. That said, Bill Scott clarified that Bob Lee assault case not yet closed. Additionally, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said, “We didn’t know anything about the facts of this case immediately after it happened, none of us knew.“.
