Sui hits the market: a new crypto giant?

After months of development, the Sui blockchain mainnet officially launches this Wednesday, May 3. The native asset of the network, also referred to as Sui, is also entering the crypto market. Already, several crypto exchange platforms are snapping it up.

It’s the big day for Sui, the token developed by the crypto firm Mysten Labs. The asset officially entered the crypto market this Wednesday, May 3, 2023. A launch carried out in the wake of the commissioning of the blockchain of the firm bearing the same name.

According to the information that have leaked, the native crypto of this layer 1 blockchain should be immediately available. And several centralized exchanges have already indicated the accessibility of their platforms for this purpose.

Among these, we note crypto firms such as OKX, Bybit and Kucoin. On their respective twitter accounts, these companies announced that transactions in Sui will be operational as soon as the asset is launched. Last April, all these exchanges had already participated in a public sale of the token. The operation was carried out at a unit price of 0.1 dollar per sui.

In addition, Binance, another major firm in the crypto industry, has opened up to the project. Indeed, the company presented the latter on its Launchpool platform. A way for users to earn am for free, by staking BNB or TUSD assets.

According to Binance’s forecast, more than half a billion sui tokens would be released once the asset launches. A total that represents 5% of a maximum supply of 10 billion sui tokens.

However, this information has not been confirmed by Mysten Labs officials. Note that the latter has invested at least $300 million in this project. The valuation of the latter is currently estimated at more than 2 billion dollars.
