Our plans haven't changed: we're building the easiest, safest way to participate in the internet capital markets from the supercomputer in your pocket. SKR is a crucial step on the path to an open ecosystem that will welcome more devices, more developers and more users.

More than 150,000 Seeker phones have been pre-ordered, building on the excitement generated by the first Solana Saga device. The Seeker is currently priced at $500. Support for the Saga ended in October, with the cessation of software updates and security patches, which explains its exclusion from the SKR airdrop.

Separately, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson recently opined that Solana has a short-term advantage over Ethereum, thanks to faster updates. Cardano and Solana also announced cross-chain bridge projects, intended to improve liquidity and interoperability between their networks.
