An ATH of transactions on Shibarium
Shibarium did not make many people happy on the day of its launch, August 16, and even less on the day of its reactivation. But as it progresses, this second layer network of Shiba Inu manages to create a surprise. In September for example, Shibarium saw more than 1.25 million crypto wallet addresses.

According to U°Today, Shibarium exploded the counters again. This time, it is in terms of the number of transactions that this L2 Ethereum from Shiba Inu made headlines. Indeed, the network recently recorded a total of more than 12 million transactions on 1er December.
Here are some figures taken from Shibariumscan:
- 5.11 million daily transactions for the same date;
- and 12,098,567 transactions till date.
Certainly, at the start of the week, Shibarium crossed the resistance point of 700,000 transactions per daybut this latest performance heralds a new era.
As for the motivations for these transaction peaks, some analysts believe that we are starting to rediscover Shibarium. And the Shiba community no longer hesitates to talk about it via social networks, with tantalizing statistics to back it up.
Note also that this renewed interest in Shibarium will allow it to gain a few additional points compared to its L2 competitors (Base from Coinbase, opBNB from Binance, zkEVM from Polygon, etc.). These second-layer solutions will undoubtedly evolve Ethereum, particularly in its ability to quickly process transactions.
