NFT: Uniswap launches a market aggregator

At the same time as the crypto market, the NFT market is experiencing an unprecedented crisis. Among these is Uniswap Labs, the company that developed the famous decentralized exchange protocol, Uniswap. It has just announced the launch of an aggregator which will make it possible to trade NFTs directly on its platform.

Uniswap becomes a leading blockchain player

On November 30, Uniswap Labs officially spear its NFT market aggregator. The company hopes this new marketplace will break down barriers between crypto exchanges and NFT markets. The announcement comes five months after Uniswap acquired Genie, the leading market aggregator. In particular, it allows anyone to discover and trade NFTs on most platforms.

The launch of this aggregator is also the result of the company’s vision of promoting universal exchanges in the field of blockchain. The new marketplace brings together NFTs offered for sale by OpenSea, X2Y2, LooksRare, Sudoswap. There are also pools, which sell NFTs.

Uniswap’s tweet to announce the news

“Historically, everyone views tokens and NFTs as two very separate experiences. But at the end of the day, they’re both digital assets and the goal is to unlock universal ownership in exchange for creators and communities. NFTs and tokens are simply two different ways to unlock value in our digital worlds”. So said Scott Gray, NFT Product Manager at Uniswap Labs.

In market development efforts, Uniswap Labs joins OpenSea and Rarrible. OpenSea recently acquired Genie’s rival Gem and Rarible also introduced an aggregator. The launch of the new platform comes with benefits
