The program focused on next iterations of the immersive experience by leveraging NFTs, Augmented Reality (AR), and AI virtual characters. Along with Polygon, Flickpay, Lockerverse and Obsess, as well as AI-centric platforms Inworld and Red 6 have been part of the program’s class of 2022.
Polygon (MATIC) and Disney: working on an NFT proof of concept
After several months of hard work, the participants performed a demonstration of their project during the Accelerator Demo Day which was held on November 10th. During this event, Disney announces that it is building a proof of concept NFT with Polygon. Concretely, Polygon will work on an “NFT rewards program” for loyal and most deserving employees. NFTs will of course be centered around Disney movies and characters.
With this initiative, the entertainment giant wants its employees to benefit from the magic of Disney through cutting-edge technologies, just like its visitors.
