Halving Bitcoin is coming soon. If some BTC miners are worried about their future after the halving of their rewards, bitcoiners see something else: the increase in the level of scarcity of their favorite cryptocurrency and a bull run. Fortunately, there are only three months left before the BTC halving occurs.
Halving bitcoin in less than 100 days
In a recent analysis, Glassnode has moved forward a date for the BTC halving: April 23, 2024. Referring to this date, we can assume that there are still 110 days before this event long awaited by bitcoiners.
But what other analysts suggest is another date, one that is 10 days ahead of Glassnode.

According to CoinTurk, excitement is at its highest level as the bitcoin halving approaches. To see the information relayed by crypto-enthusiasts on social networks, only 100 days left before the advent of this event of great importance.
Actually, the 4e halving bitcoin will take place on April 13 (Source: NiceHash). Knowing that the other halvings went like this:
- 1er halving bitcoin, November 28, 2012;
- 2e halving BTC on July 9, 2016;
- and 3e halving on May 11, 2020.
As a reminder, halving refers to a 50% reduction in block reward on the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin miners, who currently receive 6.25 BTC per block, will have to make do with only 3.125 BTC once this step is reached.
Impacts on the price of the queen of cryptos?
History has taught us that each bitcoin halving has brought its share of bull run to this digital asset. Thus, it seems completely normal that finance experts believe in a significant increase in bitcoin as part of this event.
Adam Black, CEO of Blockstream, talks abouta BTC at 700,000 dollars on occasion. A little more modest, the Pantera Capital team puts forward a valuation of $148,000 after the halving. Predictions are coming from everywhere regarding this division by 2 of block rewards.
As a reminder, theBitcoin All Time High for November 2021 allowed it to be exchanged $69,000. Halving will therefore propel it to new heights.
Although at the time of writing, the price of bitcoin was $43,835.10. The flagship crypto has only gained 1.9% in one week. On the other hand, over a period of one year, it increased by 159.7%.
