Ethereum: On the road to AI integration? Response from Vitalik Buterin

Ethereum was the big star since The Merge. But it seems that the euphoria has faded, since the blockchain is plummeting visibly. However, this trend may soon come to an end, as Vitalik Buterin appears to have other plans for the network. This time, its focus is on artificial intelligence (AI).

Vitalik Buterin is seriously thinking about exploring artificial intelligence

In terms of commitment to blockchain and the crypto ecosystem, Vitalik Buterin has nothing left to prove. At the head of one of the best networks in the sector, he has the gift of getting the community excited. And even if his reputation took a hit after the sale of his ETH, the entrepreneur continues to shake up the market.

There is no doubt that this time again, his statement will not go unnoticed. Indeed, the latter does not hide the fact that he is not insensitive to the attraction of AI. In a question-and-answer session on the Warpcast protocol, Buterin declared that he’s been thinking about it for weeks.

Although he remained vague on the subject, he still admitted that he is considering the different ways the Ethereum community could productively engage with AI. Note that for some time, more and more investors have seen the possibility of coexistence between blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

For some, this combination could be a futuristic solution to current global problems. However in the case of Vitalik Buterin, questions arise, especially when we know that his blockchain and his native crypto are not in good shape at the moment.

What if AI is Buterin’s real plan to improve Ethereum?

Vitalik Buterin has always defended the crypto sector and with each release, he has not missed an opportunity to highlight it. But despite his efforts, it seems that the wind does not want to turn in the right direction. Indeed, ETH has been underperforming for some time and Ethereum staking is going from bad to worse.

And as if that were not enough, there are added accusations and scandals. Seen this way, it looks like everything is in place for the network to go dark. However, its co-founder isn’t done yet, as he recently revealed that he has a plan to improve it.

Given its recent release, we wonder if the integration of AI might not be its secret weapon. Regardless, this would not be a first, as some protocols are already exploring AI solutions. Notably, Render Network and SingularityNET backed by Cardano.

However, Vitalik Buterin’s statement gives another perspective. Although he didn’t give any specific information, just the fact that he’s thinking about AI is sparking interest in the Ethereum community, given his position in the crypto ecosystem.
