Born from the split of the Ethereum blockchain in 2016, Ethereum Classic is actually an alternative version of Ethereum. With this one, it retains the same technological bases although having a distinct ecosystem. Apparently, for some, this is not enough for it to enjoy the same credibility as Ethereum.
Ethereum Classic, nothing less than a scam?
Ethereum Classic is the target of an attack by Charles Hoskinson, the co-founder of the Cardano platform. In effect, the boss spoke frontally about the asset. According to him, the project as a whole would be a vast scam.
On his Twitter account, Charles Hoskinson delivered the reasons for this virulent position. If he now considers the Ethereum Classic project as a scam, it is because of certain flaws.
Normally, to really hold the road, any good crypto project should have certain basic elements. Elements such as a roadmap that clearly outlines the promoters’ vision and encourages them to innovate.
Hoskinson notes that nothing like this is available for Ethereum Classic. Worse, the manager points out, the project has a lot to do with a pyramid scheme. A device where participants would make profit on the backs of their recruits.
According to the leader, all that makes the credibility of Ethereum Classic, is nothing but “anger and toxicity”. Speaking of anger, some analysts suspect that these inflammatory statements are actually part of a diatribe.
Hoskinson’s opinion would thus speak directly to Bob Summerwill, executive director of the ETC Cooperative. Recent events suggest that a rag would burn between the two men. Dissension potentially linked to the Ergo platform deemed more relevant.
Hoskinson did not refrain from comparing Ethereum Classic to Ergo which he considers the improved version of ETC. This is because Ergo pursues clear objectives, under the leadership of ethical leadership and relevant funding.
