The most popular assets in the market, bitcoin (BTC) and ethereum (ETH) are in a rather stable dynamic. In April, these two cryptos nevertheless recorded a significant upward movement. It is not excluded that they will do it again in the weeks to come.
Bitcoin and Ethereum on the rise by the end of the year
Will the two most important assets in the crypto market once again experience a period of growth? Nothing allows us to be 100% sure of such a possibility. What is certain on the other hand, some analysts believe that BTC and ETH should benefit from some favorable winds. Alex Krüger is one of those who foresee such a prospect.
The economist’s projections are based on recent trends in the US financial and monetary market. Typically, these relate to the policy of raising interest rates practiced by the Federal Reserve (Fed) to counter inflation.
According to Alex Krüger, this policy, already deployed at 90%, should soon know its epilogue. Once stopped in its tracks, the Fed’s interest rate hike would bring about a profound economic transformation. A dynamic that will benefit the crypto industry, especially the bitcoin and ethereum markets.
Under these circumstances, reports Krüger, the crypto market could begin to rally again as early as August 2023. This, as the US economy slows down and inflation falls. An explosive end of the year in terms of the sustained valuation of BTC and ETH is therefore quite possible.
Small downside, however: the crypto market is still subject to significant risks that weaken it. The expert underlines the fact, for example, that many wary investors sell their assets. At the same time, the amount of transactions made impacts BTC’s ability to break above the $30,000 mark.
As a result, a potential move of BTC below $26,000, from $27,000 currently, would be problematic. Caution is in order, according to the economist, because such a prospect would rather announce a bear market.
