Cardano (ADA), the blockchain with the most active developers of the month

Developers are a fundamental pillar for the growth of blockchain ecosystems. Their skills are essential to improve network performance. As such, their activity can be considered a key factor in determining the robustness of a blockchain. Data from analytics firm Santiment reveals that Cardano (ADA) is the network where developers have been the fastest growing over the past thirty days.

Cardano, leader in developer activity

Cardano (ADA) took the lead in development activity ahead of major networks in the industry. Indeed, over the past month, Charles Hoskinson’s blockchain has recorded exceptional performance. It notably topped the daily submit rates on github of Ethereum (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), and Kusama (KSM). The next in the ranking are in order: Status (SNT), Cosmos (ATOM), Dfinity, Decentraland (MANA), IOTA (MIOTA), ChainLink (LINK).

As a reminder, this analysis is based on the contributions of the developers: code submitted, responsiveness to problems, etc. It helps to determine the number of events that have occurred in an ecosystem. In this case, Cardano posted 420 interactions, which is 10% more than Ethereum and 36% more than ChainLink.

Surpass Ethereum

Cardano’s main competitor is Ethereum. A network that it tries to surpass, in particular by offering better scalability. The activity of Cardano developers shows their desire to see their network evolve.

For many blockchain networks, Ethereum is the man to beat. Currently, the blockchain has the most decentralized applications (DApps). Developers, like those in the Cardano environment, understood that they had to work hard to get a better place under the sun.
