Flagship cryptocurrency, queen of cryptos, bitcoin (BTC) is always at the heart of the news. The digital asset is embraced by many successful investors and large companies that form a community capable of taking on big challenges, according to Dale. The podcast host believes that the European Bitcoin community can play a big role in tackling social issues in the Old Continent.
A community sufficiently equipped and able to influence the future development of Europe
Composed of many start-ups and behemoths, the bitcoin (BTC) community can boast of being very influential. She is always ready to make her voice heard, as evidenced by her legendary reaction to criticism from Peter Zeihan last January. It is in this same community that Erik Dale places great hopes.
The founder of Northern Lightning said during an interview that the European Bitcoin community promotes ideals that will be crucial in tackling the continent’s social problems. He says this community is building a perfect ‘ecosystem of ideas’ to drive the future development of Europe.
“Europe is a continent that faces the challenges of war, migration, government overreach, and a lot of people see bitcoin as a way out of Europe, a kind of (Brexit), and I’m here to say Bitcoin is a voice too,” he said.
A peaceful monetary revolution with bitcoin (BTC)?
Erik Dale also confided in the conflicts that are shaking the old continent and drew a parallel with the challenges that await supporters of bitcoin. If the Ukrainian-Russian conflict is still raging, if nation states are fighting endless battles, bitcoiners must fight for the adoption of decentralized financial tools.
Erik Dale says, “I don’t think the battle for Bitcoin decentralization will be any different. I think there will be parallels to this, we can probably look at the reform and the very fragile compromises that led to the religious wars and the civil strife”.
The podcast host finally hopes that bitcoin (BTC) will be part of a peaceful monetary revolution, like the Czech Republic’s fight against Nazism and Communism. He says, “It was a velvet revolution here in Prague that showed us how peacefully we can get rid of a seemingly entrenched and corrupt system like fiat or communism.”
It was on the occasion of BTC Prague, the biggest Bitcoin event in Europe, that Erik Dale shared his thoughts with the Cointelegraph media. This conference brought together, from June 8 to 10, nearly a hundred companies linked to bitcoin (BTC) and many enthusiasts.
