Amazon: deployment of new tools dedicated to blockchain developers

Web giant Amazon is investing heavily in the Web 3.0 technology segment. This is evidenced by the recruitment of specialists in the sector, launched by the company in February 2023.

Towards new progress for Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB)?

The company Amazon launched, Thursday, July 27, new services related to its operations in Web 3.0. These are Access and Query, two tools integrated with Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB). It is a platform-managed service that facilitates rapid application development using blockchain.

According to Amazon, these tools are particularly dedicated to blockchain developers. From now on, they should be able to create their Web 3.0 applications in a more transparent and efficient way.

This, by providing seamless access to blockchain networks and their corresponding data. When Access and Query were launched as part of the AWS Web3/Blockchain summit, their respective usefulness was clarified.

“Amazon Managed Blockchain Access and Query provides frictionless access to blockchain networks and their data so developers can easily build their Web 3.0 applications,” said Saman Michael Far, vice president of financial services technology at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

According to stakeholders, Access offers serverless and scalable access to blockchains. As for Query, it is designed to facilitate access to blockchain data using programming interfaces (APIs).

This feature has an advantage. Indeed, it allows developers to interact with data stored on several blockchains, starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum. They can then more easily obtain specific transaction information like account balances, smart contracts.

This is basically an evolution that could be applied in several contexts. Such is the case when it comes to crypto custody and wallet application. The same goes for user engagement campaigns on Web 3.0 via NFTs.
