The official Shibarium account has not posted anything since July 13, 2026, while the network is going through a technical reconstruction phase. This absence does not prove the abandonment of the blockchain, but it deprives its users of a reliable channel at a time when the explorer remains partially indexed and activity slows down.

In brief
- Shibarium has been silent on its official account since July 13, 2026, raising concerns within the SHIB community.
- The blockchain remains operational, despite slowed activity and a reindexing of blocks still unfinished.
- The lack of transparency fuels doubts about the governance of the network and the management of its official channels.
- The Shiba Inu community is waiting for clear answers on the progress of the work and the return of regular communication.
Four months without communication from Shibarium, and very concrete questions
The account His silence has now lasted for almost four months, with no public explanation or date announced for a resumption of publications.
This situation therefore goes beyond the simple management of a social network. For users, several essential information remains difficult to obtain from a clearly identified source.
The main gray areas concern From now on :
- The identity of the people who control the official account;
- The reason for the interruption of publications since July 13;
- The schedule of work currently carried out on Shibarium;
- The actual state of services during blockchain reindexing.
A long-time member of the community, known under the pseudonym Mazrael, claims that certain access holders voluntarily maintain several inactive accounts. He accuses them in particular of taking advantage of this silence to favor other tokens. This statement fuels tensions, but it remains an unverified allegation and does not constitute an official explanation.
The precedent is not limited to Shibarium’s account. As early as March, members of the community were demanding more transparency on validators, ecosystem tokens and the reorganization of the team. They felt that essential updates arrived too rarely.
An active blockchain is not enough to reassure its users
Account silence does not mean that Shibarium has stopped working. Its Explorer showed around 1,020 daily transactions at the time the source article was published, up from a recent high of 6,370 on October 31. The network therefore continues to produce blocks, even if its activity remains low.
Shibariumscan also indicates that 65% of the blocks have been reindexed. This operation may temporarily make certain data incomplete or difficult to consult. It does not, on its own, allow us to conclude that there has been a network failure or that the project has been abandoned.
The problem lies rather in the absence of explanations accompanying this work. When an explorer presents partial data, an official channel must normally specify the services concerned, the progress of the intervention and any precautions to be taken. Without this guidance, users must interpret provisional technical information on their own.
The developer Kaal Dhairya, however, briefly reappeared in October. Asked who financed the maintenance of Shibarium, he replied: “Yours truly”indicating that he assumed the costs himself. Its statement suggested that the network was not abandoned, but it did not specify its budget or its long-term funding model.
The real test now is governance
For Shibarium, trust does not only depend on the number of transactions or the price of SHIB. It also relies on the team’s ability to quickly authenticate information. A silent official account leaves more room for rumors, fake profiles and fraudulent announcements that could target token holders.
This fragility is particularly important for an ecosystem largely driven by its community. Unlike a strictly technical infrastructure, Shibarium also depends on its brand, its social relays and the mobilization of the “SHIB Army”. When access to communication channels appears opaque, project governance itself becomes a subject of risk.
An isolated resumption of publications would therefore only solve part of the problem. The team should also clearly identify those responsible for its accounts, publish a progress report and designate a reference source for technical incidents.
The next relevant signal will not just be a rise in transactions. It will be necessary to monitor the publication of a reindexing schedule, a clarification on the control of @shibariumnet and the return of regular technical information. Without these elements, Shibarium will be able to remain operational while continuing to lose an asset that is more difficult to rebuild: the trust of its users.
